Catalan Rescue - Here to Help
It's a sad fact of life that sometimes, through no fault of their own, dogs have to look for new homes.
It happens to the best of breeds and sadly from time to time it can happen to Catalans too.
Catalan Rescue (affiliated with the Catalan Sheepdog Club of Great Britain) recognise that a rescued dog often needs plenty of tlc and understanding to help them heal and to re-adjust. We do all we can to help them make an often difficult transition though in the main it can be a rewarding time.

She's been found a good home
Sadly, after a period of recuperation and having just learned to trust us, these wonderful dogs have to be wrenched away again. It doesn't seem fair, but we are always mindful that these loving dogs will benefit from having a permanent loving home; plus we can't keep them all!
We love a happy ending.
The good news is that we do our best to find our rescued Catalans the very best of homes with the kindest and most understanding of carers. We remain available to offer advise and assistance where we can and eagerly look forward to hearing the 'good stories'.
Are you kind and caring?
If you would like to be considered as a Catalan carer; think that you have what it takes to re-settle a Catalan; can offer a Rescue Catalan an excellent home, then please contact me, Angie. I will be pleased to discuss things with you.
Rescued Catalan Availability
Recently - July 2008 - Catalan Rescue re-housed a wonderful 3 year old Catalan bitch but currently we do not have any Catalans seeking a new loving home. Please be sure to check back with us now and again.
Sorry but we have removed the images - as she is no longer available. Hopefully in the future we will be able to post some new pictures of her in her new home.

The futures bright for her. She had come to us in a rather unkempt and saddened state but she wasted no time in showing us that she had an affectionate nature.
She left us, spayed, and her check-up showed she was in good health. Her story has a happy end.
If you are interested in providing a loving home for a rescued Catalan, or you want to help us in other way's please contact me, Angie.
Thank you.
We look forward to hearing from you.
